I especially am thanking you, Al, for bringing this experiment from the idea-in-mental-space stage to the action-in-physical-space stage [forgive my unconventional way of speaking]!!!
One comment: I'm experiencing some hesitation when I contemplate the assumed difference between blog postings and the usual pseudo-list-serve postings that we have been doing for some time, namely, anyone can view our "precious" blog postings while only we can view our pseudo-list-serve postings.
Any recommendations for how to decide where to post?

Depends on the degree of privacy we want. We can make this blog by invitation only and then it looks similar to a list-serve. My assumption is that we wanted to invite comments from the world at large and see what kind of expansion of our ideas would come about.
BTW, this open blog is not intended for very personal sharing or really personal identification other than we are located in or near Sacramento, CA.
